About Cory:

Cory completed an international tour in May 2019 with dates in British Columbia as well as Washington and Oregon state, including a sold-out show in Ashcroft, BC.

His single “We Both Bleed” was released nationwide to Canadian radio stations on May 27 and digitally on June 4. On May 28, 2019, “We Both Bleed” was the number one downloaded song to Canadian radio stations and on May 30,2019 was still in the top three most downloaded songs.

The song was written by Nashville artist Chris Janson and Emmy Award winning songwriter Trey Bruce. The eleven-song all-original album, Welcome to My World, will be released later in the spring and includes “That’s Love,” a duet with Georgette Jones (daughter of George Jones and Tammy Wynette).

Cory’s rich, soul-filled vocals helped gain him national exposure when he became the winner of the 2018 CCMA National Spotlight Performance Contest. Despite hailing from the smallest province in Canada, Prince Edward Island, Cory still received the largest number of fan votes to win the contest. This led to a performance at the Legends Show in Hamilton, Ontario for Canadian Country Music Week, sharing the stage with Chad Brownlee, Terri Clark, Aaron Goodvin, Charlie Major, Jason McCoy, JJ Shiplett, Patricia Conroy and Michelle Wright.

About Me and Mae:

Me and Mae, the brainchild of Shawn Meehan, is bringing back the old school, country-rock sound to a new generation. Armed with big vocals (Eagles, Zac Brown Band, and Alabama) southern fried guitars (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers) and a tenacious drive, they plan to take the world by storm. As a result of their hard work and dedication, they were awarded the BCCMA Ray McCauley horizon award and nominated 2 years in a row for Group of the year.

Me and Mae has spent the last few years developing and honing their craft, during which they’ve played several major Canadian Country festivals including Sunfest, Rockin River, Big Valley Jamboree and Dauphin Countryfest. They have also showcased at the world-famous NAMM convention in LA and opened for major recording artists such as Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Rascal Flatts, and Dallas Smith.
